Mecalac produced the hybrid 12MTX which received two Innovation Awards in 2009 from Intermat. One was a gold prize and the other was an environmental award.

The hybrid 12MTX is one of three multifunctional machines. Ideal for urban and suburban construction sites, it is compact and therefore highly maneuverable.

Mecalac has patented a rapid coupling system with hydraulic unlatching allowing the different attachments to be changed in under one minute. This keeps up the
momentum on work sites. With a maximum travel speed of 27 kilometres per hour, the machine also can move quickly between sites.
With large glazed windows, workers can panoramically see the entire work site, cutting down on the possibility of accidents. With the cab away from the engine,
there is also less ambient noise, allowing operators to hear from those outside the cab. The soundproofing is to 71 decibels meaning operators will not have to

versatile than most in their class. The rotation speed is 8rpm, and there is a crossover valve which allows for progressive stopping of the rotation turntable. Multidisc
