At the small end of the Neuson line of excavators is the one ton model. The next size up are the up to 2.5 ton models, of which there are four to select from. The next size beyond that are the four models which are able to handle loads from 2.5 to 3.7 tons.
Several of the four models which handle 5 to 8 tons, are zero tail swing. Zero tail swing means that there is a zero protuberance of the rear house beyond the tracks. This feature offers greater flexibility in the size of workspace that these models can squeeze into.
The 12002 excavator can handle up to 12 tons. The Kompaktbagger model is able to handle 14 tons. Either machine is a workhorse when it comes to excavation. The Kompaktbagger also has a maximum horse power of over 100, making it a very durable and competent machine.
Finally, there are two mobile excavators which round out Neuson offerings. The Wacker Neuson Mobile Excavator can handle 6.5 tons. The 6503 can come with either a standard arm or an extended arm and works under 69.5 horse power. The 9503 model has a maximum speed to 20 kph but can go as high as 40 kph with that option. It can also come with a mono boom or an adjustable boom.
