Nissan Digs Up a Win With the DX-25

With a name like Nissan, you know its quality, but in recent years we have been less than impressed in terms of the feature to price ratio in most Nissan forklifts. No longer can this be said. The DX 25 is a beautiful piece of mechanical artwork, put together with the kind of ingenuity you have come to expect from Nissan's industrial division.

    Top Models for Nissan Forklifts

Starting with its hyper-efficient diesel engine, the DX-25 screams class. It is also available with an LPG engine, for those who prefer it. It's wraparound, 100% enclosed cabin gives the driver unparalleled vision over his workspace, making for a safer and more work-friendly environment. Not to mention its capacity, a whopping 2500 kilo grams. This counterbalance forklift is one of the best in its class, and it is high time Nissan forklift trucks get some recognition.
That's not to say Nissan's other forklifts are lacking in any way. I've also had the pleasure of working with the G1N1L20Q; an electrically powered, triplex lift masted beast of a machine. With a maximum load weight of 2000 kilo grams this forklift can give even the DX-25 a run for its money. Like the DX-25, the G1N1L20Q offers an enclosed cabin, making for a more peaceful working experience.
The DX-25's big brother, the DX 30 also has a diesel engine, but its maximum load weight is about 20% better, coming in at 3000 kilo grams. It shares the closed cabin, duplex lift mass and clearance height, but it is simply a bigger machine capable of tackling much bigger jobs. We have yet to see Nissan prove itself in the realm of three-wheeled counterbalanced frontloading forklift trucks, but it has definitely made a lasting impact in the four-wheeled division, and is continuing to make waves with its electric machines as well.
